Rick Scott Finally Wins

Desperate Democrats have finally conceded that Florida Gov. Rick Scott won his bid for U.S. Senator after a hand recount confirmed a 10,000 vote difference out of more than eight million cast. The machine recount placed the difference at 12,000 votes. Democrat challenger Bill Nelson conceded during a phone call with Scott and later proclaimed, “I was not victorious in this race, but I still wish to strongly reaffirm the cause for which we fought: A public office is a public trust.” Though long overdue, the official victory lays to rest Democrats’ attempt to steal the election through bogus last-minute ballots.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

(UPI) — Florida Gov. Rick Scott will be changing jobs — U.S. senator — as incumbent Bill Nelson conceded hours after a hand recount showed a 10,000-vote difference.
Scott, a Republican governor for eight years, announced the concession in a statement, saying, “I just spoke with Senator Bill Nelson, who graciously conceded, and I thanked him for his years of public service.”

Earlier, Florida released the final results for its midterm elections, including manual recounts for senator and agriculture commissioner.

The manual recount of the senator’s race showed Scott leading incumbent Nelson by 10,033 votes out of more than 8 million cast, compared with around 12,000 votes after the machine recount.

Trump Admin: 324M for AZ Border Wall

The Trump administration has signed off on a $324 million border security project to replace 32 miles of existing border fencing that currently does nothing to prevent illegal immigrants on foot from breaching the U.S.-Mexico border. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection project will improve border security in the Tucson and Yuma sectors and is part of President Trump’s January 2017 executive order. Previously, the effort was bogged down by environmental regulations and related bureaucratic red tape, something that has now been waived by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is wrong about many things, a fact that the Daily Wire’s own Andrew Klavan highlights quite a bit. But there is one area Klavan and Ocasio-Cortez actually agree: the Democrats have become the party of big business. Why? Klavan explained more on Thursday’s episode of “The Andrew Klavan Show.”

Klavan explained, “So there is this big story in The New York Times about how Facebook covered up when it was accused of pushing fake news, and letting the Russians get on there. They did terrible things – Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, the COO of Facebook – they took this aggressive lobbying campaign to combat their critics. From The New York Times: ‘They wanted to shift public anger toward rival companies, ward off damaging regulations. Facebook employed a Republican opposition research firm to discredit activist protestors in part by linking them to the liberal financier George Soros.’ So Zuckerberg is attacking George Soros to get Republicans on his side, and also tapped its business relations and lobbied a Jewish civil rights group to cast criticism as anti-Semitic.”

Rubio Sounds Alarm over Florida Election Fraud

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is crying foul over the mainstream media’s apparent willingness to move on from signs of fraud in the Florida recount. “No evidence of fraud in #FloridaElection?” tweeted Rubio. “Dems got voters to use altered forms to fix & submit as many mail ballots as possible after FL deadline in hopes that a judge would later order state to count them. Today that’s exactly what a federal judge did.” Now that it appears increasingly likely that Democrats Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum will still lose despite their bogus recount strategy, a federal judge ordered a “hand count” of the ballots even after the Naples Daily News detailed how Democrats were deliberately given altered absentee ballots in the hopes of triggering a hand recount. Florida has officially entered Banana Republic territory.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

With the machine recounts finished — reportedly resulting in a net gain for Republican Rick Scott of 41 votes, putting him ahead of Bill Nelson by 12,603 votes, and a one-vote gain for Democrat Andrew Gillum, which leaves him still trailing Ron DeSantis by 33,683 votes — and the hand recounts underway, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio sounded the alarm over potential voter fraud by Democrat officials.

“No evidence of fraud in #FloridaElection?” wrote Rubio in a post Thursday. “Dems got voters to use altered forms to fix & submit as many mail ballots as possible after FL deadline in hopes that a judge would later order state to count them. Today that’s exactly what a federal judge did.”

Rubio linked to a story by the Naples Daily News, which detailed an effort by Democrats to swing the election outcome by giving Democrat voters altered absentee ballots with the hopes of getting a judge to admit them.

Pelosi: Everyone is Thanking Me for “Saving America”

Behold arguably the best headline all week: Minority Leader and Want-to-Be Speaker (Again) Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) remarked during a Capitol Hill press conference that: “Every place I go [people say] thank you for saving America.” Pelosi may have finally lost touch with reality, or perhaps this is just a desperate attempt to secure the Speakership. Nevertheless, the “Never Nancy” crowd is gaining traction in their efforts to define Pelosi. It’s not about personality; it’s about the vision for the future of the party, but so far, the future isn’t looking so bright.

Here’s more from PJ Media…

WASHINGTON — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said today that “every place” she goes people tell her “thank you for saving America.”

“Winning 23 seats in a voter-suppressed, gerrymandered map was a wave — was a wave. I’d always knew we would win that, but now we’re getting up to 40,” she said of the still-undecided races. “That’s really a very big — almost a tsunami. We’ll see.”

“The thrill of it all is that 30 — half the members — the new members in our Democratic class are women,” she added. “One on the Republican side — happy for that one person, but sad to say just one.”

So far, 17 House Democrats have pledged in a letter to vote against Pelosi for speaker in the 116th Congress. Pelosi told reporters at today’s Capitol Hill press conference that she was “largely responsible for most of the resources that went into those campaigns” of the reticent freshmen lawmakers.

“That didn’t matter to me. I just said, ‘Just win — just win, baby,'” she said.

Florida Judge Extends Recount Deadline

U.S. District Court judge Mark Walker (nominated by former president Barack Obama in 2012) has extended the recount period for the Nelson-Scott race for the U.S. Senate seat as well as those for governor and agricultural commissioner. The deadline slated for 3 p.m. Thursday was moved to Saturday at 5 p.m. as an alleged courtesy for voters whose votes were not counted due to “signature problems.” Walker stated, “The precise issue in this case is whether Florida’s law that allows county election officials to reject vote-by-mail and provisional ballots for mismatched signatures – with no standards, an illusory process to cure, and no process to challenge the rejection – passes constitutional muster. The answer is simple. It does not.” In other words, this is a leftist ruse to steal an election. Typical.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

On Thursday, a federal judge in Tallahassee threw yet another wrench into the process of finalizing the vote tallies in the battle for Florida’s U.S. Senate seat between incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson and GOP Gov. Rick Scott. As the 3 p.m. deadline approached for counties to report the results of a machine recount in the races for the Nelson-Scott race, as well as the elections for governor and agriculture commissioner, U.S. District Court judge Mark Walker, who was nominated to the U.S. District Court by former president Barack Obama in 2012, extended the deadline to Saturday at 5 p.m. for voters whose votes weren’t tabulated due to signature problems.

Scott leads Nelson by 12,652 votes while GOP governor nominee Ron DeSantis leads Democratic nominee Andrew Gillum by 33,633 votes.

The Orlando Sentinel reports, “According to state data presented during a five-hour hearing Wednesday, with 47 of the 67 counties reporting, there were 3,781 ballots rejected for mismatched signatures, including 467 in Orange County.”

Pelosi Campaigns for Speaker in “Game of Gavel” for Speakership

In a desperate bid to reclaim the gavel as Speaker of the House in the new Democrat-controlled lower chamber come January, Nancy Pelosi is in all-out campaign mode. Yet, what should be a clear restoration of power for the current Minority Leader looks to be an uphill battle in her own party, which is fractured in its support. Breitbart reported on Monday that Reps. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Kurt Schrader (D-OR) would not support Pelosi for Speaker, arguing that it’s time for new leadership in the party. Despite the internal rifts, Pelosi remains confident she’ll be given the gavel once more by her colleagues. Regardless of what happens, however, the Democrats’ slim majority will not be unified with an agenda, which means President Trump will almost certainly pin the gridlock on House Democrats being unable to agree on anything ahead of the 2020 election.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is engaged in a full-on campaign for the House Speakership and is taking nothing for granted. Her move comes as more Democrats come out against her nascent bid to regain the Speaker’s gavel she lost when Republicans took the majority in the 2010 midterm elections.
While Democrats retook the House majority in the 2018 midterms, a new Democrat majority that will be seated in January 2019, Pelosi’s bid for another term as Speaker is anything but certain. While she remains the favorite, and has no intra-Democrat Party challenger, Pelosi’s struggle to get to 218 votes–the majority necessary to win the Speakership on the floor of the House of Representatives–could not be clearer.

On Monday, two senior Democrats–Reps. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Kurt Schrader (D-OR)–made clear in comments to Politico that they would not be supporting Pelosi. Now, late Tuesday in comments to CNN, two more Democrats–Reps. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and Filemon Vela (D-TX)–joined the public opposition to Pelosi’s speakership candidacy with warnings that she will not have the votes necessary to retake the gavel.

Snipes “Found Ballots” in 2012 Too

As if finding belated ballots by the thousands after the polls closed and banning independent oversight in the recount process wasn’t fishy enough, the “ballot finding” record of Broward County’s Brenda Snipes has a long history. In an exclusive interview with Government Accountability Institute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers, Breitbart News Tonight learned that Snipes also “found ballots” following the 2012 election. Snipes was sued for opening ballots and alleging a slow ballot counting process in which new ballots were mysteriously inserted into the count. So the obvious question is why in the most populous county in the state of Florida does Brenda Snipes still have a job.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

Broward County, Florida election official Brenda Snipes — who is continuing to find new ballots in the recent statewide midterm elections for Governor and the U.S. Senate — was previously accused of finding ballots after an election in 2012.
Government Accountability Insititute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers exclusively told SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight‘s Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour that Snipes allegedly “found ballots” following an election in 2012.
Eggers said:

She’s also been accused of illegally opening ballots. The Florida GOP sued her for this and when they brought her to court, they said ‘Hey, your office is opening ballots outside the presence of the canvassing board … what’s your explanation?’ And again, the woman in charge of elections in Florida’s second most populous county argued she thought it was okay because her office didn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘canvassing.’

Broward County Ballot Stuffer “Forced From Office”

According to a Politico report, Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is expected to be “forced from office” after a judge determined she violated Florida elections law, including mixing invalidated ballots into legitimate results as well as introducing thousands of “found” ballots. “Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations. Busted deadlines,” Politico’s Marc Caputo writes. “So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes – culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections – that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called Snipes’ office “the most troubled elections office in the nation.” Unfortunately, she’s still in charge of counting ballots in critical races for governor and the U.S. Senate.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

After a judge found her to have violated Florida elections law and amid reports of more highly suspicious actions by her office, the supervisor of elections for Broward County, Brenda Snipes, is expected to be “forced from office” by either Gov. Rick Scott or governor-elect Ron DeSantis, Politico reports.

“Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations. Busted deadlines,” Politico’s Marc Caputo writes. “So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes — culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections — that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.”

Even Snipes’ fellow Democrats have begun to abandon her amid her increasingly indefensible mishandling of the count, which has already resulted in a judge finding her in violation of Florida election law, Snipes’ office accidentally mixing invalidated ballots into legitimate results, and a suspicious series of reports of “found” ballots and illegally transported ballots.

Truck Caught on Video Moving Ballots Overnight in Florida

More than two days after Tuesday’s midterm election ballots are still being found in Broward County, Florida, and being trucked under the oversight of Supervisor of Elections Dr. Brenda Snipes. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has even waded into the fray, sharing a video on social media that “purports to show Broward County ballots being transported from polling places in private cars.” Another video shows ballots being transferred to a rental truck with a lack of transparency and clear “control” of the integrity of the ballots in a race that has now dwindled from a lead of 57,000 votes to a mere 15,000 with 15,000 “new” votes coincidentally found since election night according to Gov. Rick Scott. This takes vote fraud to a galactic level. We’re keeping tabs on this story.

Here’s more from BPR…

While the midterm elections took lace on Tuesday, the outcome in Florida is being held hostage by two Democrat-run counties that can’t count straight.

In what proved to be a slow drip, the results of Tuesday’s election was being altered as Broward and Palm Beach counties were still finding ballots two days later, and a tight lead by Republicans in the Senate and gubernatorial races continued to shrink.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who defeated incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson by nearly 60,000 votes saw that lead drop all the way down to just over 15,000 votes, and Ron DeSantis saw his lead over media darling Andrew Gillum in the gubernatorial race shrink to 36,333 — enough to trigger a recount.

Rubio Warning: Dems Trying to Steal Election

Sen. Marco Rubio is blasting Florida’s Broward County Supervisor of Elections for apparent misconduct in tallying Florida’s votes with the mysterious appearance of thousands of ballots after the race was called and the rejection of independent oversight of the recount. Rubio argues it’s part of a concerted effort to “change the results” of the election from Republican Ron DeSantis as governor to progressive socialist Andrew Gillum. Further adding to the questionable credulity is that a lawyer tied to the Democratic National Committee AND Fusion GPS (see the Steele Dossier) is involved in the recount. Let that sink in for a minute. Stay tuned…

Here’s more from BPR…

Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is warning that the fate of his state’s governorship could hang in the hands of Florida’s Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, whom he’s called incompetent for violating state and federal laws. A liberal candidate similarly painted her as incompetent and corrupt.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum initially conceded the Florida race to Republican Ron DeSantis, but backtracked after vote totals changed Thursday, narrowing the gap to less than half a percent in both the gubernatorial and senatorial races. Broward County is often the slowest of the state’s 67 counties to count votes, and its election department has repeatedly been faulted for wrongdoing.

Now, Perkins Coie lawyer Marc Elias has been enlisted in a recount effort. Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is retaining Elias, who said it’s “not plausible” that, as Broward statistics suggest, 14,000 people voted in sometimes-obscure state-level races but left the Senate one blank.
