Pelosi: “Shouldn’t be a Crime” to Cross Border Illegally

Nancy Pelosi has gone full open borders, now advocating that illegal immigration into the U.S. should no longer be a crime. “You cannot say anybody coming across the border is breaking the law,” Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. According to her logic, no one can be called an illegal immigrant, and the act cannot be called a crime because some may be seeking asylum. That’s curious. Whatever shall we do with the good folks at ISIS attempting to cross into the U.S. and set up terror shops? Should we offer them free health care as well?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi embraced the view of some Democratic presidential contenders that illegal immigration should not be a crime.

“You cannot say anybody coming across the border is breaking the law,” Pelosi, D-Calif., said Thursday in her weekly press conference. “Not until there is a determination whether they can stay or not.”

Pelosi echoed the view of some of the Democrats running for president, including Julián Castro, who called for the repeal of the specific statute during the presidential debate Wednesday night.
