The New York Times finally admitted-without using the word “spying”-that the Obama administration did in fact spy on Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos during the 2016 election. According to the report, the FBI sent a counterintelligence “investigator posing as an assistant” to London to meet with the Trump aide to “better understand the Trump campaign’s links to Russia.” Critics argue that this was in fact an operation not by the FBI but by the CIA under the leadership of Obama loyalist John Brennen. As we’ve argued ad nauseam, for justice to be restored, someone-perhaps even Barack Obama himself-should be indicted immediately. Else, ours is a banana republic.
