Unknown Number of Mail-in Ballots Lost by USPS in Pennsylvania

United States Postal Service has lost an unknown number of mail-in ballots that were sent to voters ahead of the Nov. 3 election, the bureau of elections director for Butler County, Pennsylvania, said Wednesday, reports The Butler Eagle.

Aaron Sheasely, who serves as Butler County’s elections bureau director, made the announcement regarding the lost ballots during a meeting with county commissioners. Sheasely said USPS officers notified him that an investigation into the matter is underway. It is currently unknown which post office location lost the ballots.

“Regarding mail sorting and delivery in Butler County, the Postal Service is unaware of any significant delays or issues and is in regular contact with the Board of Election as we work to locate and deliver ballots as they are presented to us,” the USPS said in a statement obtained by KDKA.

Biden Stays Silent on Bobulinski Claims About Family’s Business Ventures

Joe Biden and his presidential campaign are staying mum after Hunter Biden’s former business associate went public to say he met twice in the past with the former vice president – despite past statements from Biden on the campaign trail that he had no involvement with or discussions about his family’s overseas business ventures.

That associate, Tony Bobulinski, gave an interview on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday and detailed his alleged meetings with the former vice president-one of which took place on May 2, 2017, according to text messages first reported by Fox News last week.

Those messages indicated that the meeting did, in fact, take place. Bobulinski claimed Tuesday that it was Hunter Biden and Jim Biden, the brother of the former vice president, who had pushed the meeting.

“They were sort of wining and dining me and presenting the strength of the Biden family to get me engaged,” he said.

The Biden campaign declined to comment on the meeting Biden allegedly had with Bobulinski. Biden himself has not yet directly addressed Bobulinski’s claims on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

In 2019, Biden told reporters: “I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their businesses. Period.” Read more…

Protesters Raid Shops, ATMs After Philadelphia Police Shooting

Angry protesters clashed with police and looted businesses in western Philadelphia Monday night after a 27-year-old Black man was shot to death in a confrontation with city officers earlier in the day.

Walter Wallace, who was allegedly holding a knife, was fatally shot while two police officers were responding to a complaint about a man with a weapon in Cobbs Creek, according to the Associated Press. He “advanced toward” the officers, who then fired “several times,” the outlet reported.

Wallace was hit in both the shoulder and chest, then taken in a police vehicle to a hospital, where he died.

Following Wallace’s death, which was recorded and posted on social media, hundreds of people – some armed with bricks – protested in the 52nd Street commercial district, and the demonstration quickly turned violent. Police cars and dumpsters were set ablaze and NBC10 Philadelphia reported that at least 30 police officers were hurt.

A 56-year-old sergeant was struck by a truck and was hospitalized with a broken leg, among other injuries.

Stores including several Rite Aid pharmacies, a restaurant, and clothing and shoe shops were broken into. Two ATMs were also reported to have been smashed. Read more…

YouTube Runs Interference for Biden on Fracking

Google-owned YouTube is running damage control for the Biden campaign, running a “fact check” at the top of searches related to Joe Biden and fracking, which claims that the Democrat candidate does notwant to “ban” the oil and gas extraction method.

Searches for “Joe Biden fracking” and “Biden fracking” currently return a prominently-featured “fact check,” positioned above the list of videos.

The first result in the search results is a clip of Biden and Trump’s exchange on fracking during the second presidential debate, in which the Democrat candidate said his administration would “transition away from the oil industry.”

“The oil industry pollutes, significantly. It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time,” said Biden.

The second result in a YouTube search for “Joe Biden fracking” is a video of Biden attempting to walk back the comments at a recent live event, insisting he is not “banning fracking.”

Left pressures Democrats to commit to court packing

Now that the Senate has confirmed Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, left-wing officials are calling for the expansion of the high court so that Democrats can add liberal justices if they gain control of the White House and Senate.

Democrats had been hinting at taking this measure ‒ commonly referred to as court packing ‒ since well before Barrett’s nomination, but calls to pack the Supreme Court have hit a fever pitch since her appointment by President Trump.

“This court is illegitimate, and must not be allowed to wreak misery on millions of Americans in service of a far-right minority and their corporate backers,” read a letter to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., signed by 21 elected New York state officials that was reported by The Intercept’s Ryan Grim. “Congressional Democrats must end the filibuster and pass legislation to expand the court. Should he win, Joe Biden must sign it into law.”

Supreme Court rules ballots in Wisconsin must be received by Election Day

The Supreme Court on Monday ruled against a request by WisconsinDemocrats to allow an extension for mail-in ballots that are received after Election Day

In a 5-3 ruling, the justices refused to reinstate a lower court order that called for mailed ballots to be counted if they are received up to six days after the Nov. 3 election. A federal appeals court had already put that order on hold.

Democrats argued that the flood of absentee ballots and other challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic makes it necessary to extend the period in which ballots can be counted. Wisconsin is one of the nation’s hot spots for COVID-19, with hospitals treating a record high number of patients with the disease.

Senate confirms Amy Coney Barrett to Supreme Court, cements 6-3 conservative majority

The Senate voted 52-48 on Monday night to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court in a move that makes the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals judge and Notre Dame law professor the third appointment to the high court by President Trump, solidifying his administration’s legacy even further just a week before Election Day as he seeks a second term.

The last president to nominate three new justices to the Supreme Court was Ronald Reagan.

Monday’s vote marked the end of a confirmation process that lasted less than 40 days from when late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died to when her successor, Barrett, was confirmed. During that time Democrats objected loudly to the speed and timing of the confirmation just before an election. Meanwhile, Republicans have touted Barrett’s record as an academic and a judge as impeccable — and her “Well Qualified” rating from the American Bar Association (ABA) whose representatives relayed descriptions of her as “brilliant” and an “intellectual giant.”

Facebook Tries to Shut Down NYU Study on Targeted Political Ads

Facebook is urging researchers at New York University to shut down a study into targeted political advertisements on the platform. As one researcher put it, Facebook maintains a “walled garden” on advertising data.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Facebook is trying to shut down a study being conducted at New York Univerisity on the way that political advertisements are distributed on the platform. 6,500 volunteers are monitoring the political advertisements that appear on their Facebook feed through a browser extension designed by NYU’s researchers.

Earlier this month, Facebook sent researchers at the NYU Ad Observatory a letter in which it claimed that the research project violates the platform’s terms of service.

Alleged Hunter Biden Videos Prove Joe Biden Could Be a Major National Security Threat

China’s GTV published several videos and photographs alleging to show Hunter Biden smoking crack while engaging in sexual acts on Saturday. According to The Washington Examiner, “the videos and images appear to be uploaded by a single user on GTV, with many of the photos seemingly from a third-party laptop. GTV, a subsidiary of GTV Media Group, was founded in April 2020 by Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui and Steve Bannon.”

A message appearing at the end of one of the videos read: “U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden is 100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party as one of the most successful political instances of the BGY program. He is also a target of the CCP’s 3F plan, which aims to ‘fall, fail, and fell,’ to weaken, destroy and kill America!”

Guo Wengui is a Chinese billionaire who has worked to expose the corruption of the CCP. According to Guo’s website, via Chinascope, “BGY” refers to China’s plan for world domination. “The plan (which) includes Blue (control the Internet), Gold (buy influence with money), and Yellow (seduce key people with sex). Guo also said that China has a second plan called “3F” and both plans are to ruin the U.S. and to assure that China controls the world.”

No one will be shocked to see a video of Hunter Biden smoking crack. Sadly, this is behavior we’ve come to expect from him. But there are several reasons why the release of this material should give Biden supporters pause. Read more…

Family Describes Horror as Violent Maskless Rioters Throw Rocks, Attack ‘Jews for Trump’ Convoy

A family of seven – including four kids – were pepper-sprayed by violent rioters on Sunday while participating in a “Jews For Trump” rally in New York City.

A spokesperson for the New York Police Department said 11 people were taken into custody after the rally descended into chaos and violence Sunday afternoon. Six people were charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of government administration and harassment, while a seventh person was charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, the NYPD said Monday.

A convoy of hundreds of cars draped with American flags and “Trump 2020” banners rolled slowly through Manhattan and Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon. The caravan traveled from Coney Island to the Trump Tower in Manhattan before heading to a rally in a Brooklyn park.

At some point, skirmishes broke out between supporters and opponents of the president.

A member of the family that was pepper-sprayed told Fox News that the unprovoked attack happened while the family was driving down Fifth Avenue with the car windows down and Trump flags displayed.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous fearing his family could be targeted, said a car pulled up next to them and unleashed pepper spray into their vehicle. Read more…
