O’Rourke Calls America’s Economy “Racist”

America is so racist that Beto thinks babies need a bailout. During a meet-and-greet in Iowa, 2020 contender Beto O’Rourke disputed claims that he’s a socialist, saying, “I consider myself a capitalist,” but then he went on to say that America’s capitalist economy is “racist.” Beto also acknowledged that “government intervention or policy alone” isn’t enough to address America’s “historic challenges” and what is “clearly an imperfect, unfair, unjust, and racist capitalist economy.” One solution he put forth appears to be borrowed from fellow Democratic candidate Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ): to give infants a “a baby bond” as a way to address the wealth, income, and opportunity disparity “between white America and black America.” In other words, Beto endorses another government handout. Apparently, federal entitlements should now also be part of the cradle-to-grave nanny state.

Here’s more from Politico…

Beto O’Rourke said Friday that America’s capitalist economy is “racist,” while he praised a proposal to give infants so-called baby bonds to address systemic inequalities.

Responding to a question at a meet-and-greet in Iowa about whether he is a socialist, O’Rourke reiterated that “I consider myself a capitalist” and said capitalism is necessary to meet myriad “historic challenges” facing the country.

“It won’t be government intervention or policy alone that makes it possible,” he said.

However, O’Rourke added at a coffee shop here, “Having said that, it is clearly an imperfect, unfair, unjust and racist capitalist economy.”

On Friday, O’Rourke lamented “the disparity in wealth accumulation between white America and black America” and spoke favorably about a proposal to give infants a “baby bond” of hundreds of thousands of dollars at birth — mirroring a bill Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has introduced.

AOC to the NRA: “What Good Are Your Thoughts and Prayers?”

Not the sharpest critical thinker, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) immediately used the New Zealand mosque shooting as an excuse to go after the NRA for offering thoughts and prayers. “What good are your thoughts & prayers when they don’t even keep the pews safe? [Thoughts and prayers are] used to deflect conversation away from policy change during tragedies.” Memo to AOC: New Zealand has some of the strongest gun control laws in the world.

Here’s more from The Hill…

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Friday tore into the National Rifle Association (NRA) after at least one gunman opened fire at two New Zealand mosques, leaving at least 49 people dead.

The New York lawmaker condemned the fatal attack on Twitter, focusing her message on the American gun group.

“At 1st I thought of saying, ‘Imagine being told your house of faith isn’t safe anymore.’ But I couldn’t say ‘imagine,’” the lawmaker wrote, citing the deadly shootings at a Charleston, S.C., church, a Pittsburgh synagogue and a Sutherland Springs, Texas, church.

“What good are your thoughts & prayers when they don’t even keep the pews safe?” She added.

Ocasio-Cortez noted that “thoughts and prayers” is a reference to the NRA phrase she says is “used to deflect conversation away from policy change during tragedies.”

FBI Agents “Scared to Death” of Criticizing Mueller Probe

In a recent interview, former NYC Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik reported that FBI agents are “scared to death” to criticize partisan and political corruption within the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kerik argued: “Not one of these people has been brought up on criminal charges, or even ethical charges…There is a two-tier system of criminal justice in this country.” Kerik warned that FBI agents themselves are “scared to death” to blow the whistle “because they’re afraid of losing their jobs or they’re afraid of being targeted by the administration.” The bottom line is this: despite pressure from the Trump administration, Obama holdovers in the DOJ have created an environment of fear and intimidation in which true justice is impossible.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik told Breitbart News that FBI agents are “scared to death” to criticize political corruption and abuses of power at the bureau and broader Department of Justice (DOJ).

Kirk offered his analysis on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight in an interview with hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak.

Kerik reflected on partisan and political corruption at the FBI and DOJ: “Not one of these people has been brought up on criminal charges, or even ethical charges. McCabe was terminated. Comey was fired. Page is gone. But at the end of the day, there are Americans all over this country that would be sitting in prison right now if they made the same decisions, if they violated the law the way these people did.”

Strzok: Clinton, DOJ Struck Deal on Investigation

Newly released testimony from ousted FBI agent Peter Strzok reveals that the FBI “did not have access” to Clinton Foundation emails on her secret private server because of a deal “negotiated between the Department of Justice attorneys and counsel for Clinton.” Specifically, he revealed that he didn’t know if Clinton Foundation emails existed on the server because Hillary’s lawyers and the DOJ inked a deal preventing investigators from searching Clinton Foundation emails in the course of their investigation of the mishandling of classified information. In other words, incriminating information was not subject to investigation. Contrast that with the FBI’s investigation of virtually anything and anyone associated with Donald Trump.

Here’s more from Washington Examiner…

Fired FBI agent Peter Strzok told Congress last year that the agency “did not have access” to Clinton Foundation emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server because of a consent agreement “negotiated between the Department of Justice attorneys and counsel for Clinton.”

That agreement was revealed in newly released congressional transcripts from Strzok’s closed-door testimony at the House Judiciary Committee on June 27, 2018.

When asked by then-majority general counsel Zachary Somers if “the Clinton Foundation was on the server”, Strzok testified that he believed it was “on one of the servers, if not the others.” But Strzok stressed that due to an agreement between the DOJ and Clinton, they were not allowed to search Clinton Foundation emails for information that could help in their investigation.

Representative Omar: Trump is not a Human

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has hit yet another political low, this time remarking that President Trump is not even human. Omar made the remarks in an interview with Fox News in reference to Politico’s piece detailing her attacks on former President Barack Obama. When asked to “set the record straight” regarding her remarks, Omar refused to answer. When she was asked “Do you think President Obama is the same as President Trump?” Omar snapped in response, saying, “Absolutely not.” “That is silly to even think and equate the two.” She added, “One is human; the other is not.” Given Omar’s radical Islamic bent, this notion isn’t all that surprising; after all, there’s not much difference between labeling someone “subhuman” and “infidel.”

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) made dehumanizing remarks about President Donald Trump on Monday when asked about an interview she gave last week, saying that the president was not human.

Trump Just Promoted Quote Calling Climate Crisis ‘Fake’

Fox News’ Guerin Hays asked Omar, who has been engulfed in an anti-Semitism scandal, about an interview she gave to Politico last week where she attacked former President Barack Obama and suggested that he was a murderer.

Omar came out after the interview was published and claimed that Politico was lying about the interview and that she did not make those comments. Omar tweeted an audio clip of that segment of the interview that she thought exonerated her but it ended up proving that she did say it. After being mocked online she deleted the tweet.

“Can you set the record straight when it comes to the Politico interview,” Hays politely asked.

AOC: State of America is “Garbage”; Reagan a Racist

AOC is at it again, this time blasting the US of A as “garbage.” She followed with an attack on President Reagan for being a “racist,” arguing that his vision of America “pitted” the white working class against minorities “to screw over all working-class Americans.” She criticized Reaganism for its opposition to “welfare queens” or what she perceives as “essentially black women.” Clearly, the irony of her remarks went over her head. Memo to AOC: class and race-based warfare found their most recent genesis in the spectacular twin failures of LBJ’s Great Society and War on Poverty. So much for big government socialism “solutions.”

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) suggested during a talk on Saturday that America is “garbage” and that former President Ronald Reagan presented a “racist” vision of the country that “pitted” white working class people against minorities in order “to screw over all working-class Americans.”

Ocasio-Cortez made the remarks while speaking at the left-leaning South by Southwest Conference & Festivals in Austin, Texas.

“One perfect example, I think a perfect example of how special interests and the powerful have pitted white working-class Americans against brown and black working-class Americans in order to just screw over all working-class Americans, is Reaganism in the ’80s when he started talking about welfare queens,” Ocaiso-Cortez said. “So you think about this image of welfare queens and what he was really trying to talk about was … this like really resentful vision of essentially black women who were doing nothing that were ‘sucks’ on our country.”

Twitter CEO: “Probably Way Too Aggressive” in Banning Conservatives

During an interview on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey admitted that the social media giant was “probably way too aggressive” in banning conservatives. Independent journalist Tim Pool successfully squeezed answers out of Dorsey on questions related to the banning of conservatives. The obvious question now-given that social media runs on the government-subsidized backbone-when will Congress step in and regulate?

Here’s more from Breitbart…

During a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated that the social media platform was “probably way too aggressive” in banning conservatives.

On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey returned to the show this time accompanied by Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s Legal, Policy and Trust & Safety Lead. Independent journalist Tim Pool also appeared on the show, where he grilled the Twitter executives about their platform, multiple times backing them into a corner and forcing them to answer questions on topics they had previously evaded.

During the course of the podcast, the topic of the recent “learn to code” phrase came up. Shortly after a number of left-wing journalists were laid off, Twitter users — many who were conservatives — tweeted at the journalists to “learn to code,” the same advice that many left-wing publications gave to coal miners and laborers who found themselves out of jobs.

Lindsey Graham: If 1 Million Flooding the Border is not a Crisis, “What the Hell Would Be?”

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) just drove a stake through the heart of the Left’s “no crisis” lies about President Trump’s border security national emergency. During an interview with Sean Hannity, Graham confirmed that the U.S. is being “flooded.” He demanded, “If this is not a crisis, what the hell would be?” His remarks were made in the wake of Homeland Defense Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday during which she revealed that an estimated 900,000 illegal immigrants were expected to cross our border by the end of this year. Migrants aside, the Left continues to ignore the reality of rampant drug trafficking, human trafficking, and terrorism.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Sean Hannity on Fox News that the United States is being “flooded” with people coming across the U.S. border with Mexico, and it is indeed a “crisis.”

“If this is not a crisis, what the hell would be?” Graham said in the interview, which comes ahead of the Senate’s vote on President Donald Trump’s national emergency declaration to allow federal funds to be used to build a wall. “We’re being flooded.”

“The numbers are just through the roof,” Graham said.

Those numbers include family units being apprehended at the border up 335 percent over the last year and the apprehension of unaccompanied minors up 55 percent.

As Breitbart News reported, Homeland Defense secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday that an estimated 900,000 people are expected will be counted as border apprehensions by the end of the year.

The nation’s border defense system “is clearly breaking,” Nielsen said. “We need a barrier.”

Illinois “Fast-Tracks” Becoming “Abortion Capital of America”

The Illinois state government is fast-tracking identical “abortion on demand” legislation in both the state House and Senate, and the Democratic governor is fully on board. If passed, parental notice requirements will be obliterated, and there will be no protections for babies who survive abortions in that state. Abortion clinic regulations will also be repealed and non-doctors allowed to perform abortions. According to The Federalist: “A fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent rights under the laws of this State.” The measures are similar to those already passed in New York and Virginia. None of this pro-death legislative popcorn is an accident. Blue states are amid a concerted effort to beat the Supreme Court to the abortion finish line ahead of the end of Roe v. Wade.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

Illinois’ new Democratic governor, and a complicit Democratic legislature, are reportedly “fast-tracking” a pair of identical measures in the Illinois House and Senate designed to greatly extend legal abortion within the state of Illinois, wipe out parental notice requirements, and deny any and all rights to any pre-born individuals in the state.

Hillary Clinton Jabs Trump On Late-Term Abortion: ‘Lying About This Is Dangerous’

The Federalist reports that the new laws boil down to one sentence: “A fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent rights under the laws of this State.”

Per that outline, the bills would mimic similar measures in New York state and Virginia, which would legalize abortion up until the moment of birth (and, potentially, throughout the birthing process). Like New York’s law, it would alter the state’s code, completely decriminalizing any harm or murder of a wanted child — through domestic abuse or intentional act — along with other major changes to state policy.

House Democrats Starting to Drift Apart

The new Democratic House Majority is starting to splinter with the Old Guard, with moderates increasingly distancing themselves from far Left newcomers, such as socialist Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) and anti-Semite Ilhan Omar (MN), and there is only so much room for Pelosi to maneuver given that her majority was won courtesy of more “moderate” purple states previously in the hands of Republicans. The fighting is enough of a distraction that actual legislative efforts, short of the “termination” resolution targeting President Donald Trump’s border wall, are flying under the radar. Case in point, an election reform bill slated for a vote Friday. With the Democrats’ house divided, an adept Trump reelection campaign should find plenty of weaknesses to exploit. What those will be remains to be seen. Stay tuned…

Here’s more from The Hill…

House Democrats are showing more cracks in their united front just two months into the new Congress.

Leaders are scrambling to contain high-profile rifts between liberals and centrists on everything from the Green New Deal and “Medicare for all,” to the handling of controversial remarks by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and the impeachment of President Trump.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has built a hard-earned reputation for coalescing her caucus around shared Democratic values and keeping her troops in line on even the most controversial legislative proposals.

And in the early weeks of the 116th Congress, Democrats held together through a long, high-stakes shutdown debate, forcing Trump to abandon his demands for border wall funding.
