Pelosi Campaigns for Speaker in “Game of Gavel” for Speakership

In a desperate bid to reclaim the gavel as Speaker of the House in the new Democrat-controlled lower chamber come January, Nancy Pelosi is in all-out campaign mode. Yet, what should be a clear restoration of power for the current Minority Leader looks to be an uphill battle in her own party, which is fractured in its support. Breitbart reported on Monday that Reps. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Kurt Schrader (D-OR) would not support Pelosi for Speaker, arguing that it’s time for new leadership in the party. Despite the internal rifts, Pelosi remains confident she’ll be given the gavel once more by her colleagues. Regardless of what happens, however, the Democrats’ slim majority will not be unified with an agenda, which means President Trump will almost certainly pin the gridlock on House Democrats being unable to agree on anything ahead of the 2020 election.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is engaged in a full-on campaign for the House Speakership and is taking nothing for granted. Her move comes as more Democrats come out against her nascent bid to regain the Speaker’s gavel she lost when Republicans took the majority in the 2010 midterm elections.
While Democrats retook the House majority in the 2018 midterms, a new Democrat majority that will be seated in January 2019, Pelosi’s bid for another term as Speaker is anything but certain. While she remains the favorite, and has no intra-Democrat Party challenger, Pelosi’s struggle to get to 218 votes–the majority necessary to win the Speakership on the floor of the House of Representatives–could not be clearer.

On Monday, two senior Democrats–Reps. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Kurt Schrader (D-OR)–made clear in comments to Politico that they would not be supporting Pelosi. Now, late Tuesday in comments to CNN, two more Democrats–Reps. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and Filemon Vela (D-TX)–joined the public opposition to Pelosi’s speakership candidacy with warnings that she will not have the votes necessary to retake the gavel.

Snipes “Found Ballots” in 2012 Too

As if finding belated ballots by the thousands after the polls closed and banning independent oversight in the recount process wasn’t fishy enough, the “ballot finding” record of Broward County’s Brenda Snipes has a long history. In an exclusive interview with Government Accountability Institute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers, Breitbart News Tonight learned that Snipes also “found ballots” following the 2012 election. Snipes was sued for opening ballots and alleging a slow ballot counting process in which new ballots were mysteriously inserted into the count. So the obvious question is why in the most populous county in the state of Florida does Brenda Snipes still have a job.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

Broward County, Florida election official Brenda Snipes — who is continuing to find new ballots in the recent statewide midterm elections for Governor and the U.S. Senate — was previously accused of finding ballots after an election in 2012.
Government Accountability Insititute (GAI) research director Eric Eggers exclusively told SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight‘s Senior Editor-at-Large Rebecca Mansour that Snipes allegedly “found ballots” following an election in 2012.
Eggers said:

She’s also been accused of illegally opening ballots. The Florida GOP sued her for this and when they brought her to court, they said ‘Hey, your office is opening ballots outside the presence of the canvassing board … what’s your explanation?’ And again, the woman in charge of elections in Florida’s second most populous county argued she thought it was okay because her office didn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘canvassing.’

Broward County Ballot Stuffer “Forced From Office”

According to a Politico report, Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is expected to be “forced from office” after a judge determined she violated Florida elections law, including mixing invalidated ballots into legitimate results as well as introducing thousands of “found” ballots. “Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations. Busted deadlines,” Politico’s Marc Caputo writes. “So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes – culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections – that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) called Snipes’ office “the most troubled elections office in the nation.” Unfortunately, she’s still in charge of counting ballots in critical races for governor and the U.S. Senate.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

After a judge found her to have violated Florida elections law and amid reports of more highly suspicious actions by her office, the supervisor of elections for Broward County, Brenda Snipes, is expected to be “forced from office” by either Gov. Rick Scott or governor-elect Ron DeSantis, Politico reports.

“Counting unlawful votes. Destroying ballots. Sunshine Law violations. Busted deadlines,” Politico’s Marc Caputo writes. “So many controversies have bedeviled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes — culminating in her office’s troubles in the aftermath of Florida’s chaotic 2018 elections — that her days in office are now numbered, insiders and lawmakers say.”

Even Snipes’ fellow Democrats have begun to abandon her amid her increasingly indefensible mishandling of the count, which has already resulted in a judge finding her in violation of Florida election law, Snipes’ office accidentally mixing invalidated ballots into legitimate results, and a suspicious series of reports of “found” ballots and illegally transported ballots.

Truck Caught on Video Moving Ballots Overnight in Florida

More than two days after Tuesday’s midterm election ballots are still being found in Broward County, Florida, and being trucked under the oversight of Supervisor of Elections Dr. Brenda Snipes. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has even waded into the fray, sharing a video on social media that “purports to show Broward County ballots being transported from polling places in private cars.” Another video shows ballots being transferred to a rental truck with a lack of transparency and clear “control” of the integrity of the ballots in a race that has now dwindled from a lead of 57,000 votes to a mere 15,000 with 15,000 “new” votes coincidentally found since election night according to Gov. Rick Scott. This takes vote fraud to a galactic level. We’re keeping tabs on this story.

Here’s more from BPR…

While the midterm elections took lace on Tuesday, the outcome in Florida is being held hostage by two Democrat-run counties that can’t count straight.

In what proved to be a slow drip, the results of Tuesday’s election was being altered as Broward and Palm Beach counties were still finding ballots two days later, and a tight lead by Republicans in the Senate and gubernatorial races continued to shrink.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who defeated incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson by nearly 60,000 votes saw that lead drop all the way down to just over 15,000 votes, and Ron DeSantis saw his lead over media darling Andrew Gillum in the gubernatorial race shrink to 36,333 — enough to trigger a recount.

Rubio Warning: Dems Trying to Steal Election

Sen. Marco Rubio is blasting Florida’s Broward County Supervisor of Elections for apparent misconduct in tallying Florida’s votes with the mysterious appearance of thousands of ballots after the race was called and the rejection of independent oversight of the recount. Rubio argues it’s part of a concerted effort to “change the results” of the election from Republican Ron DeSantis as governor to progressive socialist Andrew Gillum. Further adding to the questionable credulity is that a lawyer tied to the Democratic National Committee AND Fusion GPS (see the Steele Dossier) is involved in the recount. Let that sink in for a minute. Stay tuned…

Here’s more from BPR…

Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is warning that the fate of his state’s governorship could hang in the hands of Florida’s Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, whom he’s called incompetent for violating state and federal laws. A liberal candidate similarly painted her as incompetent and corrupt.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum initially conceded the Florida race to Republican Ron DeSantis, but backtracked after vote totals changed Thursday, narrowing the gap to less than half a percent in both the gubernatorial and senatorial races. Broward County is often the slowest of the state’s 67 counties to count votes, and its election department has repeatedly been faulted for wrongdoing.

Now, Perkins Coie lawyer Marc Elias has been enlisted in a recount effort. Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is retaining Elias, who said it’s “not plausible” that, as Broward statistics suggest, 14,000 people voted in sometimes-obscure state-level races but left the Senate one blank.

Florida Recount Redux: New Votes Mysteriously “Found”

The Republican Senate gains from Tuesday night’s election are suddenly in question with two races now in critical recounts and appearing to track Left. With the fight for Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat up for grabs, the ongoing count has led to progressive Democrat candidate Kyrsten Sinema taking a 9,600 vote lead over declared Republican winner U.S. Air Force veteran Martha McSally. Meanwhile, in Florida, Republican Senate candidate Rick Scott is crying foul over “rampant fraud” as election officials in two super blue counties magically “found” ballots exceeding their own official number of voters 48 hours after the polls closed. Further raising eyebrows, the belated ballots have come with the rejection by those election authorities of any independent oversight in the recount. For some strange reason, this feels like deja vu all over again.

Here’s more from Fox News…

A midterm election season that appeared quite settled Tuesday night has suddenly entered a bitterly contested overtime, with Arizona’s Senate candidates locked in a tight race and trading the lead as votes trickle in – and Florida reprising its 2000 role as the center of a ballot-counting brawl complete with armies of lawyers and allegations of local corruption.

In Arizona, Democratic candidate Kyrsten Sinema suddenly took a narrow 9,600-vote lead over GOP opponent Martha McSally late Thursday, with some 400,000 votes left to count in a closely watched race that will determine the size and influence of the Republican Senate majority in January.

That was after McSally had consistently led Sinema since Election Day, and was ahead by 17,000 votes as of early Thursday.

Trump Hoping for “Beautiful” War with House Dems

Following the Left’s taking back the lower chamber of Congress this past Tuesday, President Trump reported he’s hoping for a “beautiful” relationship – or a war – with the House. Trump made it clear that if the Left, under the interminable leadership of Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), does not want to play nice, he is ready to go to war. Indeed, war could be inevitable, complete with gridlock and a waste of time and taxpayer money on personal attacks against him. Democrats are dogged in their determination to drag out the failed collusion investigation rather than let it die a natural death-all of which could undermine their own efforts toward reclaiming the White House in 2020. The bottom line is that Nancy Pelosi and friends simply cannot help themselves.

Here’s more from Washington Examiner…

President Trump said Wednesday he’s hoping for a “beautiful” relationship with the new Democratic-led House, but also said he’s ready to go to war with them if he has to.

He might get to see both. At a 90-minute White House press briefing, Trump sounded optimistic and even enthusiastic about working with the new Democratic majority. He told reporters at a post-election news conference, “it really could be a beautiful, bipartisan type of situation.”

In his first two years in office, Trump has shown a willingness to work with Democrats to strike deals he supports. He predicted he would try again in areas such as trade, infrastructure spending, and lowering the price of prescription drugs.

“I really believe we’ll be able to do that,” Trump said Wednesday. “I think we are going to have a lot of reason to do that.”

Knee-jerk Dems Announce Imminent Trump Subpoena

In less than 24 hours after winning back control of the House Tuesday night, Democrats wasted no time in making clear their priorities come January when they officially take over the lower chamber: investigating President Trump’s personal financial records. Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA) explicitly detailed to MSNBC that he will use his promotion as House Ways and Means Committee chairman to get the job done even if it requires a subpoena or updating direct records from the IRS. We actually invited this. Democrats hell-bent on taking down Donald Trump, along with their complicit pals in the left wing media, will play right into Trump’s hands ahead of 2020. Pelosi will allow herself to be painted as a partisan extremist, which could likely push even more voters into the Trump camp.

Here’s more from The Daily Wire…

Democrats had barely wrested control of the House Tuesday night when they demanded President Donald Trump turn over his tax returns. Wednesday morning, Democrats declared that investigating Trump’s personal financial records would be the first item on their agenda come January.

Democratic Representative Richard Neal (MA) told MSNBC Tuesday night that he plans on using his newfound power as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee to force the President to turn over his tax returns, and that he’ll subpoena the records if necessary.

AOC Puzzled When Asked How to Afford Socialism

During an interview with Jorge Ramos, Democrat-Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez simply didn’t understand why it is so difficult to fund her proposals for Medicare and free college tuition for all. After she proposed Medicare and free tuition for all, Ramos asked, “Medicare for all. Is it too expensive?” AOC’s response: “No. People often say, like, how are you going to pay for it, and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it. We’re paying more now.” Yes, “You just pay for it.” In other words, you just print more money…because that’s always worked out well in the past.

Here’s more from Hot Air…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gave an interview to Jorge Ramos last Thursday in which she was asked how she would pay for her agenda. Ocasio-Cortez didn’t even try to explain how she would pay for Medicare for all or free college tuition, she just said people would pay.

“In a modern, moral and wealthy society, no person should be too poor to live,” Ocasio-Cortez said when asked to define her Democratic Socialism. “We should treat healthcare, housing, and education as rights,” she said, adding, “I believe we should guarantee a basic level of human dignity in America.”

Jorge Ramos then asked specifically about several of her proposals. “Medicare for all, is it too expensive?” Ramos asked.

“No, people often say, like, how are you going to pay for it and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it. We’re paying more now.”

Ben & Jerry’s Facing Internal “Resistance” to Anti-Trump Flavor

Ben & Jerry’s independently owned Israel franchise will not be manufacturing or selling the company’s limited edition Pecan Resist flavor, which the company says “supports groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all, and who are fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda.” More alarming for its Israel franchise is that the proceeds from this left-inspired flavor will go to the Women’s March and other anti-Israel groups. Women’s March leaders include Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, who are rabidly anti-Israel. Mallory, it’s worth noting, is an enthusiastic supporter of the hate-inciting Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and the Palestinian Liberation Organization.

Here’s more from Breitbart…

TEL AVIV – Ben & Jerry’s controversial decision to release a new anti-Trump flavor in collaboration with, among others, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour, has prompted the company’s Israel franchise, which is owned independently, to distance itself from the ice cream giant.
The limited edition flavor, entitled Pecan Resist, “supports groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all, and who are fighting President Trump’s regressive agenda,” the American company said in a statement Tuesday.

Proceeds from the new flavor will go to four groups, including Women’s March, whose leaders are rabidly anti-Israel. Linda Sarsour, who was pictured in a tweet with the company’s eponymous founders, has in the past accused Israel of “apartheid” and shared a stage with Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh.
